ISAIAH, Ch. 13: v. 6-13

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinner thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogances of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

ISAIAH, Ch. 42: v. 13-14

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: He shall cry, yes, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies. I have long held my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

EZEKIEL, Ch. 39: v. 7-8

So will I make My Holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute My Holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the LORD GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

MARK, Ch. 13: v. 12-13

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

REVELATION, Ch. 3: v. 10-12

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

GALATIONS, Ch. 5: v. 19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

HEBREWS, Ch. 13: v. 8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

HEBREWS, Ch. 12: v. 14

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

HEBREWS Ch: 13 v. 1-2

Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares

ISAIAH, Ch. 59: v. 1-2

Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear

FIRST JOHN, Ch. 2: v. 15-17

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever

HEBREWS, Ch. 11: v. 6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

JAMES, Ch. 1: v. 5-7

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the LORD.

ISAIAH, Ch. 55: v. 8-9

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

JEREMIAH, Ch. 29: v. 11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

FIRST THESSALONIANS, Ch. 5: v. 17-18

Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

FIRST TIMOTHY, Ch. 5: v. 7-12

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment, let us be there with content. But they that will be rich will fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lust, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

FIRST TIMOTHY, Ch. 6: v. 13-19

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickened all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ: Which in His time He will show, who is the blessed and only potentate, the King of kings and LORD of LORDs; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see. To whom be honor and power everlasting, Amen. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate. Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

PROVERBS, Ch. 23: v. 4-5

Labor not to be rich: Cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt you set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle towards heaven.

JOHN, Ch. 1: v. 18

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

FIRST JOHN, Ch. 1: v. 12

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us

FIRST THESSALONIANS, Ch. 4: v. 13-18

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep. For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
